Here is how I generated the Xenobiology Museum team members and artists featured in the art exhibits.
1. I asked ChatGPT to give me names (single name or list of names to choose from) and biographies when needed.
2. I asked MidJourney to generate the photo of these people, giving the most accurate description in the prompt including their name and job title.
To know more about the tools I used:

how to generate a person
Here is for instance the request for the artist who made the alien glass sculptures:

Then, I asked MidJourney to generate the photo of “a sculptor named Mara Kurosawa, making a transparent glass sculpture of an alien creature, in an art studio” and I got these results:

I chose to upscale the 3rd photo, mostly because the hands and fingers where in a correct position (it can be a huge problem in MidJourney):

And here is the result at the end of the page displaying the photos of her Xenoglass exhibit, combining the name and biography generated by ChatGPT and the photo generated by MidJourney:

how to generate a diverse Team
I used the same method to find all the other names for the Team. However, on ChatGPT, while repeating the process, I quickly came across an unexpected “issue”: most of the time, the AI kept giving Asian or Latino names only.
I was really surprised by the recurrence of the process. It started to be a real issue because I didn’t plan to have a museum with only people from Asian and/or Hispanic background. My goal was to show a wide diversity of people from all around the planet and I really thought that’s naturally what the AI would come up with. But the “bug” kept repeating again and again.
So I asked ChatGPT why:

… but it happened again…

… and again…

… despite my numerous attempts… And even ChatGPT noticed it and tried to “apologize”.

After many attempts for each person, here is the final result:

Strangely enough, I got a bit more diversity to chose from with the photographers names and here is the final result, including the photos generated by MidJourney:

You can see the Team’s page here.
hot wo Generate a crowd or a group of people
I also wanted to integrate photos of visitors in the museum, but when it came to featuring a whole crowd, MidJourney had issues generating detailed faces of everyone, as you can see here:

Luckily I didn’t have issue with a smaller group of people, like the collective of artists featured in the Spectral Zoo exhibit:
